It’s not your fault

The problem is none of this is your fault. I believe that our heads have been hijacked and our bodies have been punished by the war on food. And by war on food I mean the comprehensive media manipulation of foods as either friends or foes. Problem is, one day we are told we should be eating this, and then that, and then back to this again. It’s exhausting! The enemy’s face keeps changing so we don’t even know what we’re fighting anymore … except ourselves

I’m not in the business of telling people what to eat.

The truth is I am FAR more interested in how you feel and what you’re thinking when you’re eating than what you actually eat. My work is grounded in psychology which means I’m interested in how you eat and how you feel and think about food. I’m also really interested in YOU! I want to know more about the person who’s hiding behind the diets, the rigid rules and the self sabotage.

I help you to examine your dietary obsessions to find complete food freedom and together we work on growing your self confidence and self esteem. Ditching the diets for good, discovering body confidence, falling back in love with food again and ending all those years of emotional eating, yo-yo dieting and is an advanced skill and I promise that another diet does not hold the answer.

I know from personal experience that you really can have a life where food no longer controls you, where emotional eating and bingeing is a thing of the past and where you can finally, finally feel comfortable in your own skin.

When I used to have a love-hate relationship with food and my body, I tried every diet under the Sun. Low-fat, fat-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, Atkins, Paleo, South Beach, 5:2… you name it. I was constantly “falling off the wagon” and vowing to start again on Monday. I was trapped in a diet/binge/guilt cycle that lasted for years. And I always believed that I would be happier, more confident and great things would happen if I could just drop those 10lbs I was obsessed with.

But living your life permanently on a diet means that the inevitable will ALWAYS happen….You can only restrict for so long until your willpower fails you and you find yourself bingeing on entire the contents of the kitchen. Then comes the inevitable shame, guilt, and disgust followed by the inevitable vow to start again on Monday and allow the whole cycle to begin again.

I finally discovered how to stop get off the diet treadmill and find peace with food and my body and that’s what I want to share with you.

Before the day itself:

We will have a 1-1 Skype session, so we can have a chat and I can get to know you better and find out exactly what you want from our day together. Exciting!

You are invited to my house in London where we can spend the day together. Alternatively, I can come to your house and spend the day with you there (depending on where you live!). Skype sessions are also available.

The day will be tailored to suit you but here’s what we will cover:

We will explore your relationship both with food and with your body We can spend the morning talking about your story, dissecting your relationship with food and how that looks right now for you so that we will be able to know what we need to change.

We will together identify and remove toxic food thoughts and any limiting beliefs. We will dive deep and identify limiting beliefs that have been holding you back without you even realising it. We will work on getting rid of the self-sabotaging stories we tell ourselves.

I will help you to identify patterns and habits that are keeping you trapped and together we will create a whole new set of positive guidelines for a happier you. We throw out all the rules you have surrounding food!

We will dive deep into your emotional eating patterns and habits. We will explore binge eating and emotional eating habits. We will get to the core of them and I will supply you with the tools and techniques for banishing these for good!

We work through your food choices and nutritional need to enable you to become your own health expert. We write you some new daily rituals and mantras for your food choices, health and happiness. I help you to view your body as so much more than just an ornament and get you thinking of it as the vehicle to make your dreams come true.

You will discover, understand and practice intuitive eating. I’m going to teach you everything you need to know plus lots of helpful tools for how you can ditch the diets forever and you will learn to eat whatever you like, when you like, without any of the guilt!

We will design you new personalised routines to get you feeling amazing every single day. These are going to feel natural and effortless and you will be able to continue them indefinitely. We will talk about exercise, how to use it and how to implement it so it feels good. We will plan some self care and will make sure it’s easy to implement.

If you feel like the sparkle has faded from life and you’re just getting done what needs to be done, I’m going to help you find your joy! Together we will rediscover the fun in life. We will talk about the things you want from life and then together we will make a plan to start making it all happen.

You will discover how it could feel to be comfortable in your own body and to love the skin you’re in. Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to pick my brains on anything you like and ask me absolutely anything you like at all.

As part of the day I will cook a lunch of your choice for you and can teach you how to make whatever it is you choose for us to eat!
